Part of a set of three still-life paintings documenting late-1980s ephemera collected by my parents while they lived in Chicago and hung out on the North Side. This piece features an authentic restaurant menu from Cas & Lou, matchbooks from iconic Chicago bars, a "Pool is Cool" pin, and a pool chalk and scuffer from that same era.
